Kibria graduated from the University of Delaware in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Exercise Physiology, with a focus in Biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning. After graduating, Kibria Completed his Masters degree in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Biomechanics at Adelphi University. While attending Adelphi University, Kibria ran the Stage III & IV Cardiac rehabilitation program as well as established a childhood obesity program through Winthrop Hospital. Kibria served as one of Adelphi University’s Strength and Conditioning coaches for their Division I and II sports.

Prior to opening Optimum Health & Fitness, Kibria worked as an Exercise Physiologist in the stress laboratory at New York Methodist Hospital and most recently as Head Exercise Physiologist at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.

While working at these esteemed facilities, Kibria gained invaluable expertise working with individuals specific needs, including diabetes, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, frailty, morbid obesity, orthopedic limitations and various cardiac conditions.

Kibria is a Certified Exercise Specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine. He holds certifications in functional movement screen level I and level II, Onnit Academy unconventional training level I, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Tabata Boot camp.

Currently, he is studying to be a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA Certification Commission and a certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting.

Joe Fusco
Athletic trainer / Functional Strength Coach

Joe is a 2014 graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Athletic Training. While Joe was at Montclair State in the Athletic Training Education Program he had multiple clinical rotations at high schools and colleges in Northern New Jersey. He is a nationally certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification. Along with being nationally certified as an Athletic Trainer he is also licensed by the Athletic Training Committee of The Board of Medical Examiners to practice Athletic Training in the state of New Jersey and also certified by the Department of Education State Board Examiners to practice as a School Athletic Trainer in the state of New Jersey. Joe is also Onnit Academy unconventional training level I certified, a certified Lagree Fitness instructor, and certified by the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Program (CPR and AED). Other than being involved in the fitness industry Joe also has experience as a high school football coach and a passion for athletics. He does not only teach about health and fitness he practices it himself. He believes if you take care of you body, it will take care of you.

Chrissy Rogan
Office Manger

Chrissy is a life long resident of Wayne. She worked for over 10 years in the banking and investment field bringing her marketing, customer relationship skills and organizational knowledge with her. While raising her two children, Chrissy remained active by volunteering in the school as PTO Co-Chair for the Media Center. Outside of school she was a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop and serves as Vice President of the community swim team. Although raising a family is extremely rewarding for her, she decided to return to work moving in to the health industry. Chrissy also enjoyed working as a spin instructor for 4 years and looks forward to bringing the same care and attention to the clients of Optimum Health & Fitness.
