Unconventional Training

Optimum Health & Fitness has created the ultimate training environment that takes the best of all training methods and puts them into a truly comprehensive routine. This is PRIMAL FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT based fitness using traditional tools such as your bodyweight and dumbbells to non-traditional tools like steel maces, kettlebells, battle ropes, sleds, steel clubs, tires, TRX and monkey bars.

We believe in working hard but smart, in being strong but mobile. Lastly, we believe in looking good but not at the expense of being healthy. This is honestly a training system that teaches health from the inside out; a training system that builds usable muscle through smart movement. Our program increases performance through balanced programming and a training system that decreases injury through innovative restorative techniques. Optimum Health & Fitness proudly invites you to take advantage of the area's first one stop shop to complete health & wellness.

We use specialized TRX® suspension trainers to gain strength all over by utilizing your own body weight to simultaneously develop balance, flexibility and core stability.  TRX® is attached to an anchor point and by changing the angle of the body this creates different exercises with more or less body weight which in turn can intensify and/or modify a specific exercise.

I needed to learn when and how much to eat before exercise. I become adept at counting carbohydrates and continue to exercise on my own, consulting with Optimum Health & Fitness whenever needed.
